chuck314d
I love P-51 Mustangs especially the -B. I think it is a lot "meaner" looking than the bubble top -D. Edited April 15, 2017 by chuck314d
chuck314d
I bought the Mustang III kit because it included the Malcolm Hood part. I will save this for a future project. Edited April 15, 2017 by chuck314d mistake

chuck314d
If I build another Tamiya P-51B, I will just paint the floor black and close up the cockpit.
(ex)Sgtrafman
Hey chuck Great work mate I especially like the fabricated floor, nice one. I'll keep on eye on this build as you can't beat a mustang! Iain

georgeusa
I'd love to see your build, but no pictures are appearing. I hope you get your Flickr problems worked out.
chuck314d
There has been a "mishap" with this project. It may not get finished anytime soon. Nothing new for me.
chuck314d
After nine years I have returned to modelling and I am again working on the Tamiya P-51B kit. I have had better luck with it this time. I have made the missing plywood cockpit floor from plastic sheet. I an happy with my efforts. I will try to show a pic of the finished product.
