Airfix Lightning F6 and Vampire T11

Here are two recent builds, the Lightning does need a few finishing touches but I simply don't have time to do them right now and I won't be able to work on this specific model for the next four months at least due to my circumstances so I thought I'd share it in it's 95% finished state.

That's a nice pair of silver birds. Also showing two aircraft of the same scale gives the viewer a sense of how each related to each other in size.

Thanks. I'm not entirely sure how RAF training worked in the 60s (I assume students went Vampire - Hunter - Lightning after basic flying training?) but it certainly would be a big leap in terms of performance and size.
