brewerjerry
Hi When the airfix 1:24 mossie came out there i think were quite a few conversion kits released. I dont see any 1:32 ones when I search, i.e. TR.33, XV, XVIII , PR , bull/ thimble noses , four blade props etc . or am i just not searching the right sites cheers jerry Edited April 10, 2017 by brewerjerry typo
JohnT
Not overly helpful but Paragon did a number of these and some are still found from time to time on e-bay etc. There are a set of flaps and wing tanks on e-bay at the moment. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/311843568489?ul_noapp=true http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/311843578228?ul_noapp=true The owner Neil went on to other things. he did a fighter conversion set with cockpit etc, two stage merlin conversion and a bulged bomb bay and wing tanks IIRC Grey matter figures do a fighter nose and at least 2 other companies also do merlin 2 stage conversions with varying degrees of success. I recall a thread on the comparisons on here quite recently. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GMAE3201-GREY-MATTER-FIGURES-1-32-MOSQUITO-FIGHTER-BOMBER-NOSE-REVELL-PARAGON-/322299317715?hash=item4b0a894dd3:g:oGQAAOxyOa9RyY2q and from them directly too
Gorby
I don't know if this helps: https://www.scalemates.com/search.php?fkSECTION[]=Kits&q=1%3A32+mosquito*&fkTYPENAME[]="Detail and Conversion sets"
brewerjerry
Hi Thanks for the replies, I had seen these, but was looking for some deeper conversions as I have the tamiya and hk kits, but wanted to build them 'not out of the box' one thought is the tamiya as DD723 the mossie with lanc engines cheers J Edited April 11, 2017 by brewerjerry
