1/72 Lavochkin La-5FN

Recommended Posts

Beautiful La-5FN and diorama, Fuad! Kraseevaya rahbot! Regarding the question about the inscription, these particular La-5FNs were aircraft that had been paid for by workers in Mongolia. I actually have a photograph of the pilot of this aeroplane standing up in its cockpit, in my book on the GPW Lavochkin fighters.

Best Regards,

Jason

Absolutely. In the army of the USSR at that time, this was very often practiced. Individuals and entire collectives collected money for the construction of aircraft and other vehicles. Accordingly, such apparatuses carried on their sides inscriptions about this.

I take it it's a Mongolian aircraft, judging by the lettering?

Very good, indeed! In fact, I was convinced it was 1:48, not least because of the excellent figures.

Evocative setting as well. Really impressed by this one.

Incidentally, who makes the figures?

Kind regards,

Joachim
