Airfix B-17G early Tail Gun Part available

I wanted to do some OD Green B-17G's but the options are limited because of the Cheyenne tail turret.  I modeled the early part and it's posted on Shapeways if you'd like one.

Looks interesting.  Do you have any pictures of the actual item?

Maybe it's just the lack of linear perspective in that render, but the end of the tail looks too pinched to me.  Here's a snapshot I took of the Memphis Belle's tail turret in the restoration shop at the USAF Museum.
