1/48 Hasegawa Harrier GR7

Recommended Posts

Hi all.

I just finished the Revell (=Hasegawa) 1/48 Harrier GR7.

The kit builds into a pretty nice model. The only tricky bit is the part just behind the cockpit where the wing meets the fuselage. This needs some carefull cutting, filling and sanding.

On the wings and fuselage I added some rivets which I made with a rivet wheel.

The cockpit is from Aires and it fits pretty good.

Paints used are from Akan and Gunze Aqueous over a black Alclad primer. I used the kit decals. I really like them.

Weathering was done with a grey wash from AK and pastel powder.

Thanks for watching.

René

Wow, that's a really beautifully turned out Harrier, in my opinion you absolutely nailed the paint finish and weathering.

Gorgeous piece of work.
