Catching Pictures in the Air

Hello Tony !

Marvelous and load of superlatives used here above, all the long of these 124 pages !!!

Finally have you been contacted by Buckingham palace ??? :rofl2:

whatever... The queen did'nt know what she missed here !

I just say :mike:

Really look great, another idea now... A second C-119, no, AC-119, on a bank with firing miniguns

That way you will have 2 lamps, one on each sides of the bed....:evil_laugh:

No ???

Sincerely.

CC

The holes are bigger than the EZ-line as I now find it easier to glue the line into a brass tube 'plug' away from the aircraft so that it can be easily inserted afterward using CA:

What  a cracking idea, I like that!

I also like that Boxcar, absolutely stunning build Tony, superlative work!

It has been such an instructive pleasure to watch this build Tony. A wealth of modeling tips and tricks on display, as well as just great skill and determination to care this incredible project through to completion.

Thank you for sharing your journey with us.

Thanks Terry. :thumbsup2:

Seeing all that complexity now behind me makes me pine for something simple and graceful. Like a glider?

Maybe thats what you need to try next 🤔

Tony, it would be an insult to your intelligence if I were to pretend that I have been giving your work anything but my fullest attention over the last few months, but I have just had a quick catch up.  What an incredible result you got there, testament to the sheer amount of research, trial, and work that you have put in.

It has been a year & half of top notch modelling (in the truest sense), and sheer ruddy entertainment!

Even the thread page numbering now reads like a veritable whats what of USAF/MAC airlifters!

A beautiful rendition of the 119, deserves to be displayed in a case at the same museum as the full size Pelican.

I'm too knackered at the end of this marathon to find much in the way of wit or originality to close the build with, but a massive

To complete the roll of honour in full tonight:

Bill, Benedikt, John (Canberra), Massimo, CJP, Adrian, Tomo, Martian, Trevor, John D.C, Teuchter, Heather, Andwil.

You have all at various stages cheered, inspired and informed me - and in the case of @perdu, tutored me in the 'art of vacform' - so that this build in the end became far more than I could have made it on my own.

Thanks isn't enough but all I can proffer.

I would DO the blush emoticon but am actually quite proud to have been part of your support team, I feel we may have just rowed across the Pacific and Atlantic in terms of interest you engendered and effort you put into it

I gave you a rough idea of a technique mate, you turned out an artform

Well done Tony
