Might it be better to wait til the plasterer has finished the ballroom ceiling?

We were lucky to have been able to match the kitchen tiles after all

Are you still going for dramatic black and white Hammer Horror effect carpet, the one with the phoney perspective lines woven in?

I don't think I can drink in there again if you do, the illusion will make me feel a 'need to heave'

I was walking past and heard a noise and came in to investigate. I think you need a few bin bags to clear up the mess.

And who painted the bath heliotrope?

Trevor

heliotrope? Is that even a colour?  Mind you, have been very brave today, went cushion shopping with the wife, she mentioned all sorts of colours like teal, cerise and a whole heap more, think she was making them up!! Didn't have the heart to tell her if it isn't dark earth or sky then I'm not really interested! :talktothehand:

I've been in the attic with Melisa.

Her pilaf was very nice.

Unfortunately we've ripped a bit of the flock wallpaper (flailing high heels) and spilled mead on the shag pile  .

Does anyone know where we can get a roll of 1973 'curry house burgundy' flock?

Yours hopefully

I've only got insulation in my attic.

What are the thermal qualities of rice in general?

Is the rice cooked? Be hell to pay if it gets stuck to the insulation!

Glad you've sorted the lino out Trevor. Just as well cos after it got trashed someone dropped the soap on the floor, I had to get a mate round from he pub to re-decorate. Conveniently he didn't have much work on and was really cheap (can't think why) and this is the finished job. A nice rustic look, reckon Tony and Mrs B will thank us and be well chuffed. A little avocado paint and that lino will really set it off.
