Nocoolname
Hi Folks! Does anyone know if there's a 1/48 version of any of the British tanks (MK I - V) available? I've seen the 1/35 (a little to big) and the 1/76 (my eye's would struggle) but not a 1/48. Any help most appreciated.
Kuro Nezumi
If you specifically want 1/48, then I'm afraid that finding any WW1 tank in that scale will be nigh impossible, short of scratch-building one. The closest thing I can think of is 1/56 or 28mm if your willing to go for something a tad smaller. Try here for some ideas: http://www.landships.info/landships/kit_lists.html# https://store.warlordgames.com/collections/wwi Hope this helps.
bull-nut
If you are up to scratch building them, and there aren't too many fiddly bits on early tanks, you could try the paper Mk1 model from the WoT Russian site Here as a starting point. It says 1/50 scale, close enough?
Nick Belbin
There's plenty available if you know where to look. Here's a link to Gaso.line's homepage: http://www.gaso-line.eu/gaso-line.htm and specifically: http://www.gaso-line.eu/news/mf48589K_Tank_Mark4_1914-18.htm There's a few British items here and it's quite good fun having a look through. Nocoolname
Cheers folks! I wanted to avoid scratch building after my experience with the Eagle Transporter which went waaaayyy OTT. I was seriously considering the gaso-line kits but then accidentally stumbled upon Mike's review of the 1/35 Meng kit of the MK V Male and just had to have it.
