Homebee
In progress. Source: http://armahobbynews.pl/en/blog/2016/04/14/pzl-p-7a-model-kits-from-arma-hobby/ PZL P.7a Model Kits from Arma Hobby This post is also available in: Polish Already announced model of PZL P.7a fighter is ready for tooling. 1/72 scale model release is planned for this year. Take a look on 3D renders of the model and read about release plans and schedule! Model of the PZL P.7a PZL P.7a, was the first of Z. Pulawski fighters manufactured in large series. She was also a great achievment of Polish engineering. Probably first manufactured in series and introduced to combat units fighter airplane with full metal one wing construction, semi-monocoque after-fuselage. It seems especially important when compared with contemporary fabric covered two-wing wighters and even Hurricane. Photo: Wikipedia Plastic model kit 1/72 scale is also first large series (“long run”) model of Pulawski’s fighter from Arma Hobby. Tooling will be made in specialised Polish company that offers better control quality than TS-11 Iskra tool manufacturer. Having a very close tooling workshop with expected top quality makes us very excited planning a lot of interesting kits for nearest future. a real challenge is correct execution of corrugated panels on wings of model kit. PZL P.7a model kit is a kind of crash test of new technology we have developed for series of Pulawski Fighters 1/72 scale. Release of the PZL P.7a model kit is planned after Summer Holidays. Hopefully just after return from vacations, but not later than Christmas of 2016. As always it is a great financial challenge to finish a moulds so any prchase in our shop Arma Hobby helps. Puławski Fighters from z Arma Hobby Focused on plastic kit of PZL P.7a we are still developing resin Pulawski fighters prototypes kits w announced for 2016, and probably some more. Their release has lower priority than plastic kit, so it is difficult to tell exact release date. We have received questions about 1/48 scale resin kit of P.7a. There was a kit of this airplane available on market a few years ago. We are not sure if there is a market need for new one. Please write comment below, do you need a new PZL P.7a 1/48 scale? Or maybe 1/32 scale kit? Big scale one would be available on Christmas with an affordable price… What do you think? Thats all on PZL P.7a plastic and resin kits at now, stay tuned! Procopius
It appears that Arma Hobby will be releasing a 1/72 PZL P.7a kit in "late 2016", a time I'm sure we'd all prefer to go back to if we could.

TonyTiger66
I've been following progress on their website. They have some lovely models and upgrade sets. It will be good to have a new P7a. The old (Masterbox etc) kits are possible to make nice, but to have a really good basis will be excellent. This, with one of their 'Iskra' kits (very nice) and an RWD 8 wing set will make the postage to 'goodie' ratio just right . TonyT
Basuroy
I hope they achieve finesse with the wing surface structure and the panel lines . I have their iskra 72nd scale kit , the basic edition without PE etc. The kit looks really good inside box with many detailed plastic parts but there is one drawback , a major one at least for me - the panel lines are heavy . It is not extremely bad but just about passable and in 2016 , it isn't too much to expect better. No matter how detailed a kit is , with panels like that , it will look more like a corgi die-cast than a tamiya or eduard kit .

Homebee
Fresh news Source: http://armahobbynews.pl/en/blog/2017/05/29/pzl-p-7a-airplane-variants/ Quote PZL P.7a Airplane Variants PZL P.7a, was first airplane of Pulawski fighters series introduced to service of Polish Military Aviation. During production and service several small changes in airframe were developed. See what changes were introduced and how they were rendered in model kit. PZL P.7a Armament Production PZL P.7a were armed with Vickers wz. 09/32 (serial Nos 6.2-6.8), Vickers E (Nos 6.9-6.108) and finally Polish made PWU FK wz.33 (Nos 6.109-6.150). Armamament variants were researched by Krzysztof Sikora in Mini Replika No. 78, pp 19-25. Vickers armed airplanes had a small rectangular covers with vent slats on fuselage sides. Behind them were hidden gutters with MG barrels. FK wz.33 MGs barrels were placed in open gutters on fuselage sides. Vickers guns jammed often. During overhaul Vickers guns were removed in favor of FK ones. Overhauled airframes were overpainted with new shades of Khaki paint. Changes of colors will be explained in one of next articles on P.7a fighter soon. We have decided to include both weapon variants in PZL P.7a kit. Plastic parts have FK wz.33 in opened gutter on fuselage sides. Photo etched parts for Ekspert and Deluxe sets (it also will be available separately) includes Vickers vent slat covers. They are available in two options: whole fuselage panel with vent slat covers included and just separate covers. Whole panel with covers should be rolled to fit fuselage sides. When using separate covers – gutter filling is required. PZL P.7a with P.11 windscreen, photo from Modele z Szachownicą. PZL P.7a Windscreen PZL P.7a windscreen was big pointed top with triangular profile. Some of airplanes had it changed. Example is 5 (Ser. No 6.17) from 121 eskadra. It had a flat top windscreen from PZL P.11. Model kit set contains both P.7a and P.11c windscreen in one sprue included. It allows to assembly both types of windscreen in your model kit. Dodatkowa owiewka silnik-płat Some of P.7a eg. No 26 from Ulez (1939) and airplanes taken by Romanians had triangular fairing between engine cover and centre wing edge. It is available in photoetched fret. Mentioned above variants made some intersting difference between P.7a airplanes. It would be especially interesting to modelers building collections of this great airplane. Differences will be described in instruction if only known. See PZL P.7a model kits in Arma Hobby shop. Homebee
Sprues Source: http://armahobbynews.pl/en/blog/2017/06/13/pzl-p-7a-model-kit-plastic-parts/ Quote PZL P.7a model kit – plastic parts This post is also available in: Polish Today PZL P.7a plastic parts sprues photos are Published. A model that has been produced with a lot of effort and passion. Thank you to all who supported us on this project! Here are plastic parts. We are very glad with model general shape, corrugated panels on wings and tailplanes and model parts fit. PZL P.7a kit builds quick and easy. Even long exhaust pipes are assembly without problem. We only regret some plastic flash around parts that are result of our inexperience in model tooling. Also we would like slightly better fuselage sides surface. Cockpit interior is very well detailed even without photoetched parts. Tomorrow photos of photoetched parts and painting masks will be posted. Then resin accessories and color schemes. Model will be released late next week. V.P.

GrzeM
There are some news from Arma Hobby: an article about general rules of PZL P.7a painting: http://armahobbynews.pl/en/blog/2017/06/19/pzl-p-7a-colours-and-markings/ ...and - in the dedicated 1/72 PZL P.7a newsletter - some photos of the painted model - still unfinished, without weathering, some details and without decals, but very cool looking.
