Silver Fox
Something a bit different this time, it is the Italeri re-pop of the Kinetic Thunderstreak, with a Quickboost nose intake. The underside is so colourful I wanted to display it so this is my attempt. I need to find a way to get the plane level on the stand but other than that it is finished.
BerndM
Lovely build in striking markings, you need a pilot ?
stevehnz
The top side is a bit colourful too. Nicely done all around. Steve

Im probably need a taller pilot, he is there you can just make out his red helmet but he is sat a bit low. Too late now to alter it.
camper1
Too much time on your hands again Andy, did you need the sunglasses for that one? Always liked F84Fs such a sleek aircraft but a bit of a ground hugger. Nice one Cheers Ian
TonyTiger66
That looks fantastic ! The Italians certainly know how to create striking colour schemes. 'The Red Devils' with quite a touch of green too. Did you paint all the red and green parts? I can imagine it would be tricky, but decals would be very difficult indeed. Stunning. Silver Fox
Tonytiger66 Its mainly decals! but there is a lot of Red paint as well. Camper1 time on my hands he says, how many Meteors did you have on display at Huddesfield?
exdraken
looks good, great take off pose! great work on that many and big decals! they are Cartograf printed I guess?
Silver Fox
Exdraken, yes they are Cartograf decals but they still needed a lot of Kleer and in some cases Daco setting solution to snuggle down..
F-32
Very nice work and a great scheme
exdraken
it is good to hear that it worked out.... I have this kit somewhere in the cellar stash... mainly for the decals..... I saw one of these planes at Rivolto airshow (Frecce Tricolori anniversary) in the static, restored for preservation, so looking quite a bit different and more boring than yours, but it got my attention non the less! hope you do not mind posting this here: cheers, Werner
Silver Fox
Werner, that's a great photo, thank you for sharing. Looks like it has been painted light grey, maybe as a preservative?
exdraken
searching a bit, I found one form 5 years earlier, still in natural metal, and still a not over painted canopy...but quite weathered, and with pealing markings...
