spoondog13
Hi, I am researching the Junker G31, especially the P&W Hornet version. I have the recent book about G24, K30& G31 by EAM a number of photos and the RAAF cargo dimension drawings. Is anyone aware of any scale drawings that can be accessed or any other research material available? My grandfather flew on them when he was assembling the gold dredges in New Guinea. Any assistance appreciated. Cheers Rod
JWM
Of course in net there are some drawings available: http://histaviation.com/ju_g_31.html http://www.network54.com/Forum/219149/thread/1213969965/1%3A72+Falcon+900+now+available+(finally!!!!!) and especially that small drawing on this page, which you can clik and enlarge and which looks like :from the epoque": http://www.flugzeug-lorenz.de/index.php?id=51 Here I found how it was with Ju-31 in Australia http://www.adf-serials.com.au/2a44.htm Interesting story. Is there any idea how she looked in 1942 (colours, camo details)? Regards J-W
spoondog13
Hi, Thank you kindly for your reply. Finish on the RAAF G31 to my knowledge was bare metal (with black nose and engine panels) & markings as per the photo at ADF serials. However one of the drawings shows what appears to be camo markings, anyone know anymore? Cheers Rod
