That looks just magic Lex. I've a Hasegawa kit put aside to do one of these in the next size down, along with all the appropriately sized stencils. I'm afraid that I tend to cop out & only put the obvious ones on.

Maybe for the F-104 GB later this year!

Most stencils are visible and it is worth all the work in the end.

Thanks for the heads up on that, I didn't have that on my radar. I'm keen to try for a Belgian Mirage in the Mirage GB later on too, so why not a Belgian F-104 as well.

Great work Lex, that's a serious amount of stencils but the end result is definitely worth it.

I know the feeling Lex, it took me about 10 days to add all the DACO stencils, but it will really be worth it in the end, it already looks fantastic!

Attached the gear and doors on the Starfighter. This week I hope to find some time for the matt coat.

Looks very convincing.

Is this the same as the USAF SEA scheme?

I used the Vallejo set with the Sea scheme but the dark green was almost the same as the lighter green so I took another one for that color with the same FS number.

FS numbers used are FS36622, 30219, 34102 and 34079.

This really is looking lovely. Perhaps I've a biased opinion in favour of the Belgian Starfighter given that it featured in the first proper reference book I ever bought for a modelling subject but I'm enjoying the chance to watch you work on this one.
