1/48 Hasegawa F-104G Belgian AF DONE

Hi all,

 

This will be my build for this GB. The Hasegawa F-104G in 1/48. Will be using DACO decals and some extra's.

Nice choice Lex.

And a great selection of aftermarket goodies and decals, I do like the camouflaged Belgian F-104's and I would like to see how the Daco decals perform.

Finally done with the F-16 so on with the F-104.

 

Made a start with the cockpit. OOB except for some extra PE.

Got the Starfighter primered today. I'll try to do the underside tomorrow.

Done some airbrushing and masking and did the last color today;

 

 

 

But I was a little bit curious how it turned out and demasked a small part.

 

 

There is almost no difference so I will have to redo at least one of the colors. I think the easiest way is to repaint the dark green color and make it a little darker.

Nice work Lex. Shame about the greens issue. What paints are you using?

I'm using Vallejo model air paints. Used 71.016 / 125 / 289 and 296 for this one.

Did the unpacking today. Some small repairing to do but not too bad.
