Manu
Hi guys, here is my latest built, the 1/48 Tamiya Do 335 two seater. An easy kit very fun to build and paint. I've been inspired by several WWII pics of that plane. by looking the pics, I've noticed that the main leg door is falling. I'll fix it later. Cheers, Manu Edited February 3, 2017 by Manu

stevehnz
A lovely job on this, I like your finish. I'm guessing by what appear to be overpainted US markings this went from German to American to British ownership. I'd love to know more on it. Steve. Jessica
I did that one a couple years ago using the ancient Monogram kit. I missed the black panel on the nose guns, and I let the balkenkreuzes show through the overpainting.
spruecutter
Very nicely done and an interesting scheme to boot. I am not normally a fan of captured aircraft in captor markings but I am quite taken with RAF roundels on this bird. Regards Richard C

Manu
Thanks guys for your comments. This plane had been captured with its german markings. Then, it'd been tested by the USAF before being transfered to the RAF at Farnborough in november 1945 It crashed a few weeks later, killing its pilot. The NMF is done with the "new" Vallejo acrylics metallic paints. Good stuff, safer, but a little bit less realistic than Alclads. Cheers, Manu.
