Phantom FGR.2 31 Squadron 1/48 Hasegawa

Recommended Posts

Thanks for the comments.

Went out cycling for a few hours today and then had the old Roast Beef & bottle of wine Sunday night.

More on this tomorrow.  Big push to get some wheels on, last few decals and some odds & sods & she is done.

I was going to pose a 1:43 Morris crew van I bought, some ground crew and RBF tags as a posed diorama but have limited time.

If I can I will, I bought a base from coastal kits so will try & use it.

I like the rocket pods best. ;)

Well played, you beat me to the post too. Ill get you next time (best Greenback voice).

Really, really liking the 755s on a Phantom, youve definitely made me think about a heavy load of them on my "spare" FGR.

Good work with that bloody PE around the cockpit too. I dread doing that.

Now.... get those RAF RBF tags on it and make it properly finished!

ps - Seamaster I assume?

Yes I will be doing the RBF tags etc once I'm back.

Thanks for the ordnance, really looks the part.

Yes, a 2001 Seamaster (annoyingly refered to as the 'Bond' Seamaster but more correctly 2531.80).  As a ship's Captain what better watch? ;)\
