albymoore
Hi All, Here is my recently completed Airfix MiG-15, dimensional and shape errors and all. It was painted with Tamiya paints (AS-12 Bare Metal underneath the XF-59 Desert Yellow, XF-61 Dark Green, and X-18 Semi-gloss Black camouflage scheme). Final finish is a mix of Vallejo Matte and Satin varnish. Thanks for looking! Cheers, Albert
WildeSau75
Very nice - really like your MiG-15 in this livery. Cheers, Michael

BerndM
Lovely build with a great paint job. I am not an expert but it looks like a MiG-15 to me and much better than my Dragon MiG build many moons away.
Mark4700
Excellent. Finish is superb. You must have put a lot of weight in the nose to stop it being a tail sitter.

Murray
Very nice! I didn't even realise Airfix had a MiG. Excellent paint job

fewr9fkr9595
What are the problems with it? Looks like a Mig-15 to me. And a well built and painted one at that too 👍🏿
PhantomBigStu
great build, good scheme choice as it hides the shape issue slightly, @Tony Oliver, the fuselage is slightly overscale so its longer and beefier than it should be
Bell209
Like the scheme. Could well be any operator's condition (there are still a few in Africa).
F-32
Cracking little build, I really like that scheme too

dogsbody
Despite the slight dimensional errors in the kit, there's no mistaking that for anything other than a MiG-15 and a very well done and well finished model of a MiG-15. Chris
cocky05d
Very nice ,the Airfix Mig15 seems to have vanished ,perhaps they might reissued with new decals . The weight in mine came loose so now it is a tail sitter .

albymoore
Thank you all for the kind comments. It was a fun model to build, and even more fun to paint. Also, it is the first model I've painted with an Iwata Eclipse, vs the Paasche VL I had been using for many years. Suffice it to say, the Paasche is now a back-up airbrush. Spitfire31
One of the best looking builds of this particular kits that I've seen. The camo effectively hides the somewhat overdone panel joints and make the MiG look quite dangerous. Excellent work!
