Roberto
Hi guys! I forgot the reasons why this one wasn't finished, I hope not too many pieces are missing... Also, I wonder what will happen when that masking tape will be pulled away Ciao. Roberto. Edited January 15, 2017 by Roberto
JOCKNEY
Hi Roberto Ive never seen a mask for the wing markings used with this aircraft before, I thought the green splodges were put on with a brush after the silver background was already on. i hope the masking comes off just right. cheers Pat

Roberto
Hi guys. I painted the undersides and applied some mottling on the fuselage sides. I masked the tail sufaces, which will have to be painted in red. Luckily I had taken note of the paint used when I started to paint the model: Vallejo silver and Tamiya XF-13... Ciao. Arniec
for what I can see, is that looking good. I hope that you don't pull any paint of with the masking tape. With me that mostly happens. That is why I hate NMF jobs. Cheers
Roberto
Arniec, thank you. The masking tape was intended to be pulled away after a few hours, but things were different, and I don't know for how long it was there...anyway, all went well! Ciao.

JOCKNEY
Congratulations Roberto, really glad the masking came off so well. I know what you mean about running out of time, my build is the same. Keep going and let's hope we both get our building in the gallery. cheers Pat
Arniec
Great work on the paintjob Roberto. Can't wait to see it with some decals on. That will bring the model wore to life. Cheers,
Drift
How did you get the mottling effect? Edited January 27, 2017 by Drift
Roberto
Update... Thank you for the kind comments, friends JOCKNEY, I had big problems, when unmasking, on the underside....luckily Arniec, I'm putting the decals on...the clock is ticking! Grandboof, thanks Drift, it was done freehand...it isn't good, too much overspray...maybe I'll touch it up, one day.... Ciao! Roberto
Well...I'm calling it done, even if some touch ups are still needed. A nice kit, a beautiful subject: Capt. Teruhiko Kobayashi Chofu A.F., 244th Sentai, Jan. 1945 A big thank you to the fellow Group Builders and, of course, to our hosts! You know, I could use a few more KUTAs ;-) Thanks for the views and comments! Ciao.
