Andy341
Hi, this is one of my current projects (the others being a twin seat Typhoon and a F2 Banshee), although I am building the F-100C kit from Trumpeter. I can personally recommend the Eduard detailing seats for the exterior, cockpit, and undercarriage. I look forward to seeing some photos of your build. Kind regards Andy
Reini78
intend to use the kit seat, added some Fine Molds seatbelts, they are WW2 but look good enough

Reini78
used some primer to have more contrast and depth fuselage glued together, so far a straight forward build

Reini78
chose napalm bombs and bullpups as ordnance from Hasegawa weapon sets A and B
Reini78
black is beautiful....change of plan and gonna do a nightfighter......just kidding, but would be a cool scheme on the Hun black paint as a base/primer my dad hasn´t decided yet wether he will use Model Master Metalizer or Vallejo Metal Color
Reini78
painted the engine area with Model Master Metalizer Chrome, now some different metallic shades and some wash to weather it
S5 modeller
Very nice work. Cockpit looks brilliant, and the rear of the fuselage looks good too. Matt
Reini78
masked the engine area, now painting the rest with Model Master Metalizer Aluminium
Reini78
fuselage painted, the Model Master Metalizer paints a great, very fine pigments, sweet surface but the problem with these paints is that you need a smooth surface on your model because you see EVERYTHING some sanding and filling work to do and a naughty hair 4

Reini78
not 100% but way better than before with unmasked engine area napalm tanks painted with Vallejo Metal Color Dark Aluminium
Reini78
used Gunze Mr Metral Primer to seal the metal paint but sadly it partly "ate" the Model Master paint, so maksing the engine area again and repainting the model, this time my dad will use Vallejo Metal Color Aluminium
Reini78
in the end my dad painted the Hun with the ordinary Tamiya XF-16 Aluminium, a bit rougher than real Metalizer paints but good enough for a worn Vietnam comabt look
