Painting instruction looks good but wasn't the black horizontal tailplane underside a shadow as opposed to a black underside?

Looks that way to me Chris, there's a corresponding shadow to the right of the starboard engine nacelle.

Cheers,

Stew

Hi

they have to fight for space with the other 1:32 kits Ju-88, 2 x HE-111, 2 x mosquito and one day a vac 1:32 beaufort

i suppose one advantage of living in canada,  also having a largish house & being divorced

Hi

just noticed in the sprue drawings in the pdf instructions

it has parts not used with a red X

it not only shows bombs etc, for a FB version

but also parts for the prototype version

       cheers

Hi

definitely jealous, I ordered one direct from SH and waiting on one from hannants to come in stock

I will be lucky if one of them gets across the pond to me by june

but looks like it is worth all the waiting

but gives me chance to think of maybe doing one in a ' speculative ' scheme of P6994 when it was in the USA with the USN,  ( basically same colours as the grumman x5f skyrocket in 1943/4 )

   cheers

Strange that they can travel the globe but still bypass good old Blighty!

Brett Green's Gaspatch Komet unboxing video has a brief cameo of his mostly built Whirlwind. Both look good - the Komet and the Whirlwind, that is!

Still waiting patiently... :clap::bounce::clap::bounce:
