Hi.

When it comes out my next long wait will be for the 1/32 hawker typhoon they announced at the same time as the whirlwind was initially announced.     Cheers.

Fair point!

I still have a Revell Typhoon adorning my mancave ceiling, so not in such a big hurry.

Being a Westlands ex-Company man I'm wondering when a 1/32 Welkin is going to happen... Not anytime soon, I expect :fraidnot:

Yummy,  can't wait,  although I noticed a bit of flash, not too much of an issue though.

Chris

I guess that's one of the reasons they do test shots so they can adjust things if needed.

Maybe some aftermarket brass cannon barrels will be around to replace the plastic. No denying this a surprising and excellent choice of subject by SH, I like forward to their 1/32nd Barracuda next 😂

Trigger warning: Price may be offensive to some :D

Oh crikey! If the Whirlwind lands with the five 1/72 Harvards I pre-ordered and get shipped together, then I can guarantee C in C House will ensure that I will be late of this parish.

Then again, I'll get the 10% pre-order discount, so my sentence may get reduced to a good flogging.

It’s an injection molded Westland Whirlwind in 1/32nd; it would have to be a lot more expensive before I consider not buying.

Hi.

Not to bad a price considering the 1:32 scale and the fact they won't sell as many kits as if it was a spitfire or a 109 etc

     Cheers

That's a bargain for me, my limit is £100 a kit but for a Whirlwind or a Defiant or a Barracuda I would pay more, mind you I probably only buy two or three kits a year as I only build in 1/32 scale and WW2 period only.

And as you can see my preference is for RAF/FAA types, though I do build other nations subjects when the fancy takes me.

Cheers
