Sparmax - sheared nozzle - advice?

Hey guys,

As the title suggests, the nozzle in my Sparmax SP-20 just sheared when I was cleaning it, (was only finger tightening it?) Anyone know how best to get the nozzle threading out from the brush? Or should I just return to sender and have them replace it? I'd understand if the brush was old, I've not even had it a month.

Thoughts?

Cheers!

Sparmax make a "nozzle repair tool" for this, probably better called a nozzle thread extractor - it's basically a fine steel pin with a pointed tip that has flattened edges much like a straight flute screw extractor. Insert the tool into the nozzle thread, push to allow the edges of the tool to grip & then unscrew, the flutes gripping the inner side of the nozzle thread.

  • 1 year later...

Morning everyone. I suffered the same mishap over the weekend but with an Expo AB605. I have looked on their site for spares, but only found for model 725 even though it looks the same.... I tried the contact button but no response so far. Anyone know where I can buy spares from? TIA and all the best
