Murray
Hey guys, As the title suggests, the nozzle in my Sparmax SP-20 just sheared when I was cleaning it, (was only finger tightening it?) Anyone know how best to get the nozzle threading out from the brush? Or should I just return to sender and have them replace it? I'd understand if the brush was old, I've not even had it a month. Thoughts? Cheers! Ugghhhhhhhh
Jetblast
Sparmax make a "nozzle repair tool" for this, probably better called a nozzle thread extractor - it's basically a fine steel pin with a pointed tip that has flattened edges much like a straight flute screw extractor. Insert the tool into the nozzle thread, push to allow the edges of the tool to grip & then unscrew, the flutes gripping the inner side of the nozzle thread. little-cars
Several ways.... The nozzle removal tool if you have one to hand. But initially you can just try a cocktail stick. Paul
Murray
Hey guys thanks for your replies. I heated it up under a tap and a cocktail stick did work. Got some replacements of eBay. Thanks for your help.
little-cars
Glad it sorted it out. I would give the brush a thorough clean before you put the new nozzle on. There must be some reason the nozzle broke. Could be some paint down there that caused it to stick Paul
McNab
Morning everyone. I suffered the same mishap over the weekend but with an Expo AB605. I have looked on their site for spares, but only found for model 725 even though it looks the same.... I tried the contact button but no response so far. Anyone know where I can buy spares from? TIA and all the best
