Thanks for the positive comments Richard, Kev, John and Julian.

The Filter reduces the garish colour divide.

I like Filters.

The Echelon decals were admirably thin but placing them was consequently problematic - despite setting solutions they needed a considerable amount of coaxing to follow the sponson corrugations.

A top layer of Klear will delay final weathering.

Thanks for looking

Francis, Didier, Ripaman, Kev and Gremlin - Thanks+++

This poor build got abandoned to pick up on the maritime stuff:violin:

I'm trying to finish all my started projects:facepalm:

So - it's on with the weathering and I'm after a grimy used "in the field look".  I've virtually stopped using pigments and instead rely on oils.

I normally use the oil dot technique but following Andy Moore's Leopard build on "The Modelling News" which I thought was magnificent I've tried using his wet "oil wash", backing up with AK "Dust and dirt deposits and "Grey Dirt Spatter" from Wilder

I'll wait 24 hrs for the oils to dry and this should be near finished then.

Thanks for looking
