corsaircorp
Hello dears, As I was trying to have some order in my modelling cabinet hum hum hum I found back this one, I started her years ago as a good add to my "Battle of France" serie. I bought it in a model convention, the price a little bit cheaper, the model is rare, barely seen. And Günther Lutzow has downed 2 of them not so far from my hometown (mistakenly recorded as Curtiss Hawk) Enough of reasons for me to buy it (easy game) And trying to make a good rendition of the Bloch from it (real messy game) Even the drawing on the box is approximative. Do not try to do it without a good plan. Here's the instruction sheet Seem quiet simple ? No ? Here's what it should be... Will not speak about the quality of the plastic, we know that it is short run after all. But here's what you have I added 2 plugs in the fuselage, trying to have the right lenght where it is needed. Rivets are very evident on this sturdy Aircraft, it is like my Devastator, my first try with the MDC riveter, that will be corrected too I've been a little bit too enthusiastic. Have a glance at the adjustment, just for fun... And the Karmann is not right, what a luck... Yes it is sarcasm Here's what it should be... And yes the whole engine is angled down and right. So, this one will not be in RFI next week, that's a fact. But I will not let it down either. Let's say, to be continued, someday, in a near future, perhaps, may be, and so.... Thank for watching. Looking good though sir! Thaaaank you, I like short run kit, but fonderie is a short run in a class of short run. The advantage of all these brand is that they dare to do very confidential kits. And that's a pleasure, well pleasure or masochism, where's the border ?? Have a nice day. Corsaircorp

corsaircorp
Sometimes, I'm a prey for a distorted form of masochism ! Not only doing a fonderie kit is still an adventure but I modified some little things Like opening the flaps .... Aaaaand one will cut along following the structure lines, but here's the result ! The kit has a brand new idea ! Dissimilar flaps !! More to come soon, before that heu .. Kit get back to the shelf of purgatory... sincerely. CC Fonderie The best way to maniaco depression !!

corsaircorp
Hello Dears, As I told it to our Dear Baron, I Don't care about soccer... So finale or not, I have Martianised a Fonderie kit... I will start to add the pushrods to the engine ! This Le Rhone engine is the best looking part of the kit... But engineer is surely ignored at that factory… Putting the pushrod straight were surely not funny enough !! Now back at the interior, the seat is on PE fret but, the original look that way !! Tube made seat, plain Renault 4 system…. No the lever is not the handbrake !! First attempt to make a seat from scratch ! But I'm not satisfied at all and if I follow the dimensions of the PE part, the seat is too large to fit the railing on the floor ! Second attempt but Following the railing this time... At left stand the second set of tubing, it went Inside the frame. And then I started to repair my Trumpeter riveting... First coat of surfacer ! I will maybe finish this one in 2018 ! Have a good modelling time ! Hope that the Brits will win the world cup ! Best wishes ! sincerely. CC
Courageous
I think you love Fonderie kits! Not my scale but your builds are entertaining and when you add a bottle of Chimay in thread... Stuart

corsaircorp
Hello Dears ! Time to have a laugh now !! The 2 flaps did'nt have the same size... BUT none of these have the right size… Anything weird with the flap itself ??? Seriously ?? A trim on a flap … I checked and there is none on the real thing ! I found back my piano strings !! Grrrreeeaaattt ! Did you notice the hedgehog on the top of the pic ? Here's a closer view ! It will look like this when finished Be reassured the carter is not blue at all but more closer to H308... Hope that I can make some modelling tomorrow, IRL is really demanding these days !! Enjoy the summer, make models and take care Gents ! Sincerely. corsaircorp
Well, it was the evening for homeopathic bit of Fonderie !! Started to repair my OVER-enthusiastic riveting But working on a plastic that is as soft as melted cheese and at some other place hard and skiddy !!! The pushrods are almost done ! And the seat start looking like the real thing ! I made some masking on my Sturmovik and worked on that 190 D-9 Must find back my notes since there is Something to do with the propeller !!🤔 Hooops ans I spend some times on my Seafire 17 too. Have a great modelling time ! Sincerely. CC

CJP
Hello CC - good to see you taming your MB152 FM model kit - not a lot of FM kit completions to be seen anywhere - I see you have your liquid medication to help you through CJP
corsaircorp
Hello Dears, Well, I talked about finishing this kit in 2018... The scratchbuild seat is called done... Then I still repair my own over enthusiastic riveting... The engine is almost done, improved a bit Aaaaand... Guess what ??? It did'nt fit in the cowling... Whatever, lest scrape some plastic... No longer talk about a deadline... Have a great modelling sunday !! Sincerely. CC
corsaircorp
Hello Dears, Time for my monthly homeopat(ethic)ic dose of Fonderie.... Even the resin is a S... one... Parts of the engine start to broke like an old leaf of bread... 🤬🤬 And now it no longer enter in the cowling... Surely because the rocker pusher added on... Then gluing the other half of the wing... The best way I can since the dimensions did'nt correspond... I'd better laugh at it... Just a bit more of sanding... Have a great modelling week... Sincerely. Shorty84
Hi CC, seems this kit puts up a good fight. No wonder, FM kits rank just behind to Mach2 on the buildability scale I have the Classic Aiframes kit in my stash and from what I read that's not an easy build either. Thankfully my build rate is measured in aeons so now we have the new Dora Wings kit which should be a pleasure to build (of course already on order). Cheers Markus
John_W
Its seems bizarre, surely it would be easier to put a tailwheel on the aircraft instead of designing a special trolley to lift up the rear skid? Your courage and patience with this kit is admirable.

In French, we use to say "In the word ingénieur one can find the word génie" This WW I clog is surely an expression of the so called "cultural exception" 9 hours ago, Shorty84 said: Hi CC, seems this kit puts up a good fight.
