kpc7676
Just finished after a number of months of working on it off and on. The kit is the old ESCI kit but still goes together well. Detail is lacking in areas such as the cockpit and undercarriage bays, so I added a Pavla resin cockpit. Engraved lines are inconsistent and soft and I had to rescribe many of them. I used Tamiya, Gunze and Alclad paints and added subtle weathering using pastels. I have owned the Kitty Hawk offering but sold it after looking at the crazy parts breakdown. I guess the moral of the story is to use the old ESCI kit if you are happy to add a few extras, it will surely build more easily. If you are a high detail modeller go with Kitty Hawk. Here are the pics, comments welcome.

jean
To my eyes, this Esci kits looks 100% a Mirage F1, no matter what rivet counters will say. So great show and congrats on a really tasty model! JR
