The Spadgent Posted January 1, 2018 Posted January 1, 2018 Well that was an almighty catch up. corsaircorp Posted January 13, 2018 Author Posted January 13, 2018 Hello dears, And there will be some Spitfire too in 2018... Did I say that I will do Something else ?? Seemingly.... I lied ! There has been a swap, one more.... I like the ICM Spitfire.. But seriously... A squared spade grip !! So the Seafire 47 has cut a deal since she got a Resin control stick And the extra late gyro gunsight from the Eduard is gone for the .47 and the Mk 24 Another wing story !! Good New, Eduard restart his Spitfire Serie !! Who will bet on a PR XI or better some Mk XIV ??? Dreams are not taxed yet, so let's have a lot !! Have a pristine Sunday ! Sincerely. CC 4

Biggles87 Posted February 3, 2018 Posted February 3, 2018 It happens to all of us, but I'm sure you can sort it out with a piece of Plasticard and some putty. John 1
Blitz23 Posted February 3, 2018 Posted February 3, 2018 Nice thread Corsaircorp, I feel my 2018 going the same way with only a Mk V Spitfire in the stash I seriously need to bulk out my Merlin Spitfire collection as I only have a Mk Xii and 24 built. I am also in the middle of building the Airfix Fr 47 Seafire and looking to add a Special Hobby Mk 3 to the collection soon. I applaud you for carrying on with you ICM Mk XVI as I've tried to build both the ICM and the Revell rebox and both ended up binned, to many fit issues and the quality of the plastic was dire, real shame as it's one of my favourite mk's of Spit. I'll have to acquire an Eduard kit for the collection! 1

On a Special for BM comparative build. Thanks for the kind words ! sincerely. CC 1

John Hello John, I must say, La ferté WAS the place to be in the 90' must say at the beginning of the '90s... Then came a huge success, politics, préfets and so on came up to show their faces... Meaning more and more cops, CRS and so on... I did La Ferté for years, having a tent behind the hangars, it was a great meeting with friends from all around old Europe... Aaaaand yes a great sharing of booze too, we were not politically correct at all... Now almost everything is forbidden... The way I did'nt get up there for years... This is now a jet set event, There is really a lot of fine Aircraft to see but if I have to choose one... I'll favor Duxford whitout any hestation ! Sincerely. CC
