Cheers, Derek Sure enough Derek !! I just have 2 or 3 chalice in the kitchen... I taste my beer far better in a chalice than in a tumbler.... Westmalle is a fine one, I've had one Thursday in the right glass.... I should get my collection of glasses down from the attic.... But.... Did you see troubles with Missus coming ??? Have you tried the other Belgian Trappistes ?? If I drink an abbey beer it is the Westmalle glass, Trappistes get in my Chimay glass.... Sincerely. CC 4 1
The Spadgent Posted November 11, 2022 Posted November 11, 2022 Thanks for the offer but I’ll be ok for part K9 😉 1

I'll look in my files for the wing of the Spitfires used by the french in Indochina Since the ICM one give the choice panels for noth the variants.... That will be a dirty worn Spitfire for sure..... Graham Boak Posted November 13, 2023 Posted November 13, 2023 My sources give examples of the Mk.IXc. Is this the only thread? I don't recognise the question that sent me scrambling up to check on my unfinished 1/72 Airfix Mk.IXc - currently a rather poor attempt at faded colours. 1
The Spadgent Posted November 13, 2023 Posted November 13, 2023 The Spitfire is back!!!! 🫶 Or should that be Spitfires are back? 🤔😉 2

Hello Graham, After a search in my books, there are mostly LF IX..... But there was IXc too.... Then at first they received 24 Mk VIII, used it a bit and turn it back when the IX arrived..... Look like another I think that I'll use a cropped E wing and a pointy rudder.... 9 hours ago, The Spadgent said: The Spitfire is back!!!! 🫶 Or should that be Spitfires are back? 🤔😉 Are back my dear Spad... There are still 4 on the bench.... I stalled my PR XI, hoping that Eduard will produce one but it don't look very likely.... More to come soon Gents.... Enjoy your modelling time !! Sincerely. CC 3
corsaircorp Posted November 21, 2023 Author Posted November 21, 2023 And the Spit goes on.... And the Spit goes on..... Tomorrow, my turn to be butchered For a better.... I hope... See you soon... Sincerely. CC 6
