And the look was not right to me If I ever wanted to have a Marty Feldman Mk 24 that would do the job But…. With all the respect due to this great artist, I just want a Spitfire Mk 24, and a good not too bad one. So, I took my chainsaw And…. I restart the radiator ;;; First trying to have the squared up a bit ! More to come soon... I think that the .24 will go back in its box for some days…. Sincerely. CC 1

corsaircorp Posted May 9, 2019 Author Posted May 9, 2019 Hello Dears, Yesterday, I get to my LHS for buying a rattle can of white primer... For both my Dear Pinkie and my F4U-2 I've been savagely agressed by this guy !! He took me 38 € and he's now in my attic !! One more for my R.P. Beamont serie !! Of course I already have the old Eduard moulding... But did you snif the smell of a double correcting build ??? Okaaayyy no more emojis... I also see this box, a collector specially reboxed by Airfix for our Dear @Martian Hale Let's see an interesting build !! Sincerely. CC 2 2
Greg Law Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 I'm starting to feel this start a kit bug. At the moment I have six kits started. Two for the Specialist group build. My real problem is I can't seem to stop myself buying new kits. I have more than I can possibly build and three on the way. Now I find myself eyeing up the new ICM He 111H-20 because I like the box art. 1 1
corsaircorp Posted May 9, 2019 Author Posted May 9, 2019 Hello Greg !! Glad to know that I'm not alone.. And you are'nt either !! I showed my stash... Now, I try not to buy more kit than I built in one year I say "I try" never say that it was working I'm a bit late on my schedule .... Well, A 1/48 Spitfire Mk XIV by Airfix... Must have one and correct my 2 hobbycracked ones.... Sincerely. CC 3
corsaircorp Posted May 20, 2019 Author Posted May 20, 2019 Hello Dears, Here's the next RFIed Spitfire me think ! White paint is done... On for the stripes…. The one on the lower fuselage will stay visible, The one Under the wings will be overpainted and faintly visible !! I will try this for the first time !! More to come soon, 2 evening work day so the paint has some time to cure thoroughly before maskings ! Take care ! Sincerely. CC 4
Biggles87 Posted May 20, 2019 Posted May 20, 2019 I like the idea of overpainted but still slightly visible stripes, if yours works I might steal the idea John PS Did you do a WIP on your Starfire? I looked yesterday but couldn’t find one. 1
corsaircorp Posted May 20, 2019 Author Posted May 20, 2019 Hello John ! Thank you feel free to use any tips or weird idea here on any of my threads !! It's done purpotedly !! Alas No, The Starfire was too far advanced in the building when I joined this Happy band of jolly modellers Same for the Stuka and I think that it will be the last non WiPed kit... I will save a sentence from our dear Alien !! "We pride ourselves in being the biggest batch of loonies hetre on BM" or Something like that !! Not sure that Mike will put this on the BM banner Sincerely. CC Here it is : We pride ourselves on having the modelling world's finest loonies here so you are indeed fortunate! Wibble! Nicely said !! 2
