Vulcanicity
Hi all! I’ve once again only managed three completions this year, despite taking kits and modelling stuff on my annual 4-month sojourn in Malaysia, in an effort to get more modelling done. Anyway, here they are, all 1:72nd British military aircraft ‘cos that’s what I do. January to April was the superb Special Hobby Vampire F3, built on plastic tables and verandah armchairs while looking out over the jungles of Borneo and drinking knock-off Tiger beer: In June I took up the reins once more on my long-running fight with the Airfix Vulcan, which already had the main assemblies broadly (give or take masses of gaps and filler) together from work in 2014-15. From then until October I was toiling away on undercarriage, various finishing details, painting, decalling and finishing. There's a fairly half-hearted WIP here. To be honest I needed all my energies for the kit itself. From October to early December I was busy with a much more relaxing project, the excellent new Airfix Defiant with all the aftermarket trimmings I could find to throw at it (it was still a hundred times more pleasant to build than the Vulcan!): Here they are together. Hopefully, with no assessment report and slightly less demanding fieldwork this spring, I might get a bit more modelling time in!

woody37
I wish I had a 4 month excursion to blame my lack of output on Phil lol! You've done a great job on these though, the Vulcan being my favourite too
CliffB
They look great together - my personal favourite being the Defiant . Cliff
