BritJet
The first half of my year was pretty average for the number of completed builds and then in June I ruptured my Achilles Tendon which suddenly gave me an unexpected 4½ months off work. I just need to keep doing the exercises. On 26/12/2016 at 13:56, old thumper said: Well done. You have got more Meteors than a pork pie shop. 22 so far! I've got kits for another 20 - there are just so many versions and colour schemes I want to do. Canberras are the same......... Just remembered some more Meteors from the beginning of the year; Frog Meteor F4 with the Alley Cat U15 conversion Airfix boxing of the MPM Meteor F8 with the Alley Cat U16/U21 conversion Airfix boxing of the MPM Meteor F8 with the Alley Cat U16/U21 conversion. I've still got 6 maybe 9 that I'll get finished before the New Year. BritJet
These will be the last for this year, the other three need too much doing to them and I don't want to rush them; Airfix Meteor F3 temporary white scheme for operations in Europe at the end of WWII Xtrakit Meteor NF14 Empire Test Pilots School, home made decals Maintrack Gloster E1/44 first prototype - low set tail Maintrack Gloster E1/44 second prototype - tail later used on the Meteor F8 Spot-On Hawker P1128 Huntsman, 1950s executive jet project, home made decals Modelsvit Tupolev Tu-91 That makes 41 this year, it wouldn't have been anywhere near that many without my time off work. As useful as it was for making a dent in the stash I wouldn't recommend the idea to anyone........ Thanks for looking and Happy New Year.
