Savoia Marchetti S.65 - interior colours

I picked up the Karaya kit at Telford in 2013, and have been contemplating making a start on it. The Karaya instructions say nothing about the interior colours - can anyone make a suggestion? I'm thinking maybe silver with black frame tubing, control column and seat, but that's purely guesswork on my part.

Good enough for me - many thanks!

(I don't really know why I'm bothering - the cockpit opening is so small that nothing will be seen once the fuselage is together! But then they haven't let me out for a while ...)

The fuselage of the S.65 ( a Schneider Trophy racer not a transport like the S.55 )  had a structure of welded steel tubes covered with aluminium; the steel parts maybe were painted in anti-corrosion grey paint (Humbrol #1 ?)  and aluminium left unpainted.

r.

Lord Puff - perhaps we could do a mini S65 Group Build at David's next week!! I'm glad you are asking these questions as I would be when I start it.

Yer on! I was going to bring it with me anyway ...

I ended up painting the interior silver with black framing, etc. Guess what? You can't see any of it!

Greggles, WIP will start shortly.
