Mig-21.

This is my 1/48 Academy Mig-21 built more or less OOB. It an older kit but I had a lot of fun with it. Hope you enjoy my photo's of the build.

Thank you all for your kind words! I used this model as a "weathering experiment" to try a couple of new things. I painted the model with Tamiya acrylics and weathered it with an enamel panel line wash and oils. I was not sure of myself but it seems to have turned out OK in the end. It was quite a fun process! Thanks for all your comments!

Hi Darren,

 

an amazing model with a superb finish. These PLW are not bad for my taste. I use them too and feel quite satisfied with the results. I like your Mig in this colour sceme very much. Good weathering, nothing Is overdone, I appreciate that very much! I always want a Mig-21 but never realized it. :(
