Well that is 2016 done and dusted. Not quite as many builds as 2015 but an enjoyable year none the less. Plenty of group builds and a variety of modelling genres. Thanks to all at Britmodeller for another great year.

Thank you for looking at my Yearbook and please comment or leave any questions you may have.

Nice work mate - particularly your SM.79... She is a real knockout, and you got that from the old Airfix kit? Kudos, sir B)

Cheers,

Thanks Stew. The SM.79 took a little bit of work, but overall it wasn't too bad! Obviously it doesn't have the detail or engineering of the modern kits, but with a bit of sanding and filling the kit came together ok. There is a build thread in the MTO GB if you'd like to see more.

I like Spitfires. But your Javelin? What a monster! Great build. Love it. Were the intake covers and ladder included in the kit or did you scratch them?

Thank you! It's all out of the box. It's really a superb kit, great fun to build and very well engineered.

Quality throughout :)

My favourite too is the SM.79.  Unfortunately I didn't really get into the MTO GB as much as I had hoped to, so I didn't follow the build.  My loss!

Thanks Cliff! I was in the same position with the MTO, there was so many good builds on the go, it was very hard to keep up.
