Hi all, well I have given these bad boys a winter service and they are in hibernation until the spring. "Let the good times roll" LOL! Having completed all three of these builds, I thought it would be cool to see them all together, enjoy the photos.

Now these cookies look utterly 1:1! Three stops on Memory Lane: never actually owned any one of 'em but rode the 750 once or twice and saw a few of the others around town. Happy days...but was that CX a bizarre pick for the 'OBRUT' treatment or what??!

Bizarre? Honda? LOL, no mate at that time Honda were trying to score sales off the other manufactures who had some seriously good products, hence we got the oval piston NR700 and the V4,s,i had a VF1000 BOL,DOR for a short while now that bike was bizarre, great engine but a chassis that only liked straight lines,i sold it quickly!

I'm sure most of these 1 Litre behemoths were aimed at the U.S. market -of course, there are NO bends on any American roads! What else would explain a Harley?

IIRC, the CX was the first with a factory hair drier bolt-on to hit the showrooms; I still can't understand why (given their bulging product portfolio), Honda used everyone's favourite dispatch hack to blow. Turbo Acty, anyone...? Now, an original CBX with a turbo...that would have been awesome. Unrideable, naturally, but that's hardly the point...! :D
