Found a small mistake in the kit (I think)

There are two vents on the belly, behind the NACA ducts behing the main gear....

There should be only one.

I've checked what meager resources I have, and cannot find double vents anywhere.

obsessive here again...

I think the right hand cockpit panel should have a step in it

Can't really find a clear pic of French cockpits, but in the Sa'ar the space is taken up by a map holder.

the Isradecal book shows it.

Any clues on the book?

Something new,  or the Isradecal one?

I'd bet on the Isradecal book, since Special Hobby already bundled it with their 1/72 SMB.2 double boxing.

I'll be getting the 'normal' Hitech kit then, and assume they'll sell the 3Dprinted stuff seperately (assuming it is something useful).

On the Hannants calalogue ''Future Release'' we also find this one under the Special Hobby label :
- ref. SH48223 - Dassault SMB-2 Super Mystere
Is it a reboxing of the original ''Early'' Frrom / Azur kit that no longer appear on the Hannants catalogue ?

Man, what happens to the original "Early" kit?? It was like just 5 months later it was already discontinued, what the...?? I was waiting to buy from my usual online shops, but they never had them in stock and now it just disappear every where?? What is this?? They are making it a true super mystere or what, I'm not not amused.

Edit: You could be right, I hope so.

that'll be the one with the Israeli stuff then, the Azur/Frrom kit is the early, the SH will be the Israeli 'late' with stores and the extended tailpipe.

Interestingly, the drawings in the assembly instructions feature just the one vent. Useful as a reminder as to which to fill.

Looking forward to getting the 1/48 Sa'ar.

I think Azur/FRROM didn't properly anticipate this kit success. Though its current sold out status. But be relax it'll be for sure reissued by Special Hobby. It's just a matter of patience.

That is possible. But I live in Germany, I've already been waiting for 5 months+, but not a single distributor here had it listed since it's release. Only until recently MBK had it in pre order only and then it was removed completely. So that was a but strange, it looks like it's a limited release only. Hopefully it will be reissued by Special Hobby soon, I'm only interested in the early French version.

The same for me, I live in Sweden and it seems impossible to find it in the entire EU. And I am also interested in the French version. I really hope that it will be re-issued!

It's still available here:

I have no connection with MN Modelar, other than having been a satisfied customer on many occasions.

Yeah, that was a bit strange. But as others just pointed out, MN Modelar seems to have it. I have finally ordered, so that probably means SH will release their version tomorrow and then it will be available everywhere haha.
