stevehnz
A super looking job on the nicest looking scheme the Tomcat ever wore, IMHO of course. I've decals to do this or the very similar aggressor scheme. I'll be rapt if it looks even close to as good as yours. Steve.

I used Vallejo Desert Yellow lightened with white for the Sand. Same for Tamiya Flat Brown (XF-10). The green and light gray came from the Akan USAF SEA camo set. The radome is Model Master Radome Tan. Hope that helps

mcdonnell
Hello, ratmigs - my full compliments to you on a superb looking build of your 'Tomcat'.I love the quality and detail of the painting and finishing work and the subtle 'restrained and realistic' weathering.Combining these factors with your chosen scheme results in a magnificent tribute and replica of this magnificent aircraft.I love it. 😉👍 All the best,Paul.

ratmigs
Thanks guys. I started this one with an early Bounty Hunter scheme in mind, but bumped into the Tom Cooper book (https://ospreypublishing.com/iranian-f-14-tomcat-units-in-combat) along the way. Couldn't help but build an Ali-cat after that; especially since I could then shoot a picture like below

modelling minion
Great job on your Tomcat. One of the best schemes a Tomcat has ever worn, and still does! I like the shot with the Iraqi Mirage F.1 too, nice comparison. Well done. Craig.
