Duncan B
2016 hasn't proved to be the most productive year for model making for me. Considering I was unemployed for the first 6 months my output looks even worse. Since I started BlackMike Models I haven't been able to finish anything at all, partly because my house now resembles a warehouse and partly because I think I've gone 'model blind' with my Mojo having deserted me completely. Anyway here is what I've managed before my Mojo left home! 1/72 Special Hobby Nardi FN305 Zvezda 1/72 Ju87B-2 Eduard 1/48 Fw190D-9 (all markings other than the little stencils were painted on using Montex Masks) Airfix 1/48 Gloster Javelin FAW9 Revell 1/72 Hunter F6 backdated to an F1 using a resin conversion All completed in the first half of the year. I'm now working on a HobbyBoss Hellcat as an attempt to restore my Mojo so I might be able to sneak it in before the end of the year but I'm not promising anything. Thanks for looking. Duncan B New photos by the grace of Smugmug.com, curses to those extortionists at PB.
Antoine
Couldn't be poorer than my own year! Good show anyway, would be a pity if your mojo doesn't come back soon.
Stew Dapple
Certainly not a poor year - an excellent year in terms of quality Duncan Cheers, Stew

Rob G
Very nice, and more than twice what I've finished (as well as being to a MUCH higher standard.) Well done Duncan!

Nocoolname
Duncan, I think you've done a great job for 2016! They're beautiful builds and yet more inspiration for me. I've only managed two Spits and half a Tonka so far this year . You've done great! Keep em coming!
jrlx
Hi Duncan, I agree with the others: you certainly did a great job, as the models look excellent. And don't worry about quantity: I only finished three this year, two of which were started in the previous year... Cheers Jaime

It's a Nardi FN 305, an Italian training aircraft sold to the French just before the war then captured and used by the Luftwaffe. The kit is the 1/72 Special Hobby. trickyrich
you may have been lacking Mojo, but the quality of what you've produced is amazing! There's some real beauties there, well done.
Newbie(kinda)
So, you're saying those models were put together as your mojo was flagging? I don't even want to think about what you might 'throw together' when you're on form. And who cares about volume when the quality is that bl**dy good. Has to be the Javelin for me; top, top, TOP finish. And thank you for sharing.
Jamie @ Sovereign Hobbies
You've still built more than me Duncan. A nice turn out. I've seen them all in person as you know and I don't think the photographs really do them justice. The Dora is my favourite. I really envy your airbrushing skills!
