Dermo245
Hi all and here's the latest finish from me, Hasegawa's 1/72 F/A-18 Hornet in a Navy Aggressor scheme (VFA-127) pretending to be an Iraqi Mig-29. I built her for a 'Call of Nature' GB (any kit with an animal for a name). The full build thread is here but in summary. Kit: Hasegawa F/A-18A Hornet Box 00438Scale: 1/72Paints: Halfords Primer from a can. Revell Acrylics, Klear, Flory Models Wash, W&N Flat Coat all by hairy stickDecals: US Navy VFA-127 'Desert Bogeys' Aggressors by Hi-DecalExtras: Eduard 'Zoom' photoetch for the cockpit. Thanks for looking! Cheers, Dermot Edited December 9, 2016 by Dermo245 photo issues first time around
AngstROM
Very nicely done! I really like the sandbox schemes on Hornets, it suits them well -especially with the 'Look, I'm a Fulcrum!' accents. But I HATE the Hasegawa kit in this scale! What's with that join along the front fuselage??! Anyway, you made it all disappear completely which can't have been easy. One teensy thing: as this is an 'A' model, should it not have the three L-shaped stiffeners at the inside base of each vertical tail? An easy fix if so.

Knight_Flyer
Very nice model and paint finish. Yes I like the desert scheme and think it looks I believe they've added another adversary scheme and that one looks quite boring.

LotusArenco
Nice one! I love seeing familiar aircraft in unfamiliar markings. Sort of what-if, but factual. Mart
