Hello

A few new pictures of my latest project. It's TBM-3 Avenger in 1/32 scale.

Enjoy.

I love it! Which unit does it represent?

Marks are from the box. White 89 of VC-94 USS Shamrock Bay 1945.

Great looking TBM great work , to me when I see the engine exposed on Avengers I think they look undersized compared to the size of the airframe I know they have plenty power with the 2600-10 then even more power with the 2600-20 .

I got the same impression that engine is bit too small compared to whole bird.

Thanks, it was worth the wait, great build and nice weathering on a GSB subject which is not easy.

Cheers

I'm big fan of Gunze, so as primer I used Mr Surface. 1'st layer was C8 silver. After that I used dark blue C365 from WWII US Naval Aircraft paints set. Weathering is just home made oil paint wash.

An absolutely splendid-looking Avenger, Mike. I've been sorely tempted to take this one on myself.
