Andrew D Jolly Rogers guy
THANK YOU for the remembrance! And, to all our British friends here, we Americans also remember what happened to the Prince of Wales and the Repulse only 3 days later from the same Japanese aircrews. December 7 2016: I was there (I'm BLESSED to be the secretary of the USS Arizona Reunion Association) HUGE ceremony in the morning, massive security. That afternoon/evening in a far more private ceremony, we laid to rest the ashes of USS Arizona survivors John Anderson and Clare Hetrick into the wreck of the ship to rest eternally with their shipmates again. Both were friends of mine, Clare was very close to me and my heart. EDIT: I've posted about the private interment ceremony at ARC: http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index.php?/topic/296280-interment-of-ashes-uss-arizona-december-7-2016/ Edited December 8, 2016 by Andrew D Jolly Rogers guy
