Many thank's John,I use Humbrol gloss coat before decal's and wash brushed on then spray their Matt coat thinned with white spirit

for the final coat it dries with a slight sheen rather than 100% matt.

Is it the White spirit that changes the sheen or does Humbrol matt have that slight sheen anyway?

Also what exactly is white spirit?

The white spirit Bruce even when I used to brush it on thinned there was a slight sheen when dry, white spirit is what we thinned french

polishing finishes with does the same job as turpentine substitute but smells less offensive.
