While I'm here has anybody any recommendations for a 1/48 Avenger??

Accurate Miniatures (also under Italeri label) is generally considered a darn good kit.  Hobby Boss gives the option of folded wing, and is rumored to be not too shabby, though generally people put it behind the former.  Monogram's is about two or maybe three generations behind.

As with the real thing, the -3s seem to be more readily found, but Acc Min did do a -1 as well.  (Most obvious difference is the intakes on the cowl.)

Thank You for that. I've got a -3 on the way. So much for using GBs to reduce my stash ;)

I had thought I'd put my hand up for this one, but I must have forgotten!

I'm going to bring along Hasegawa's lovely 1/48th F-14D. I'll be doing a Operation Freedom "Bombcat" version using Avionex's conversion kit plus Aires cockpit. I had been planning to build this for the Carrier GB but will now build an RA-5C for that one.

Good afternoon Patrice. There are a couple of Wildcat and Hellcat kits in my stash that would benefit from some attention so I'd like to join your list please.
