Booty003 Posted November 29, 2016 Posted November 29, 2016 I think that is a great build and looks very smart. Panel lines on models can be a moot point but I personally feel that they add a bit more definition to a kit, gives something for the eye to focus on detail wise especially when they are then subtly weathered . Most aircraft in real life will be relatively smooth skinned and would look too toy like when scaled down. I do have this kit in the stash but haven't built it yet - if panel lines are trench like then a more gentle wash would help to alleviate them. Good effort and a great result. Phil 2
PZRGREN Posted November 29, 2016 Posted November 29, 2016 I love it, I have this in my stash and you have spurred me to starting it!! 1
HOUSTON Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 Rudibunda, I think your " Miss Little Mischief " is OUTSTANDINGLY GOOD ... STUNNING model and I liked it a LOT. If I were able to build half as good as you I would be happy. Your B-17G is SUPERB. Everything is SUPREME in MY eyes. It ROCKS!!! KUDOS. 1
TonyOD Posted January 22, 2021 Posted January 22, 2021 (edited) As I eagerly wait for my Revell B-17 to arrive from Kingkit I'm trawling BM for inspiration... it builds up to a very impressive model. I've heard about the panel lines elsewhere and will try not to make them too prominent. Super build though. Edited January 22, 2021 by TonyOD
Brigbeale Posted January 23, 2021 Posted January 23, 2021 Aside from the previously mentioned quirks, it’s a very well put together and painted B-17, and I love it.😍😍😍 I asked for this kit for my Birthday in June last year - to go with my old restored Airfix B17 and my to be restored new mould Airfix B-17. I’m still waiting - oh well, maybe this year
