I think that is a great build and looks very smart.  Panel lines on models can be a moot point but I personally feel that they add a bit more definition to a kit, gives something for the eye to focus on detail wise especially when they are then subtly weathered .  Most aircraft in real life will be relatively smooth skinned and would look too toy like when scaled down.  I do have this kit in the stash but haven't built it yet - if panel lines are trench like then a more gentle wash would help to alleviate them.

Good effort and a great result.

Rudibunda,

I think your " Miss Little Mischief " is OUTSTANDINGLY  GOOD ...:hypnotised:

STUNNING model and I liked it a LOT.:Tasty:

If I were able to build half as good  as you I would be happy.

As I eagerly wait for my Revell B-17 to arrive from Kingkit I'm trawling BM for inspiration... it builds up to a very impressive model. I've heard about the panel lines elsewhere and will try not to make them too prominent. Super build though.

Aside from the previously mentioned quirks, it’s a very well put together and painted B-17, and I love it.😍😍😍

I asked for this kit for my Birthday in June last year - to go with my old restored Airfix B17 and my to be restored new mould Airfix B-17. I’m still waiting - oh well, maybe this year:pray:
