Oh thats nice an injection moulded Mirage 4000 will be tasty although in some aspects its a shame they are not going with the Mirage G VG version originally hinted at.

Saw the 4000 fly at Farnbourgh, great looking plane. Really want several but prob won't be able to afford more than a couple. Hope they supply some tanks and missiles and maybe someone could whistle up some nice what-iffy decals for Sadi Arabia, Morocco, Lebanon, ROCAF & possibly even France!

That is very pleasing news, but are Modelsvit still bringing to release the Mirage IIIE from an earlier announcement.  It all seems to have gone very quiet on that front.

I agree it would be very nice to see the G8 also.

Thanks Colossusfr,

Following the IIIV-01, I have high hopes for Modelsvit's IIIE.  If their plans include the Mirage 4000 and the G family and maybe a F2/F3 then us Mirage fans will be truly blessed.

Patience it is then .....

cheers,

Zhizhou

I hope the 4000 fits better than the IIIV-01

I am building the IIIV-01 at the moment and every single part needed work just to fit (apart from the flight stick....!!).

I remember seeing the 4000 being put through its paces.  Mighty impressive. It must have been Farnborough.  Just realised how similar the fin/rudder is to the Rafale.

photo-etched plate

They have given the stabilizer Magic 550 photoetch, it is good. But some producers, such as Eduard for example, usually do in photoetch for convenience
modeller special conductor in photoetch.
Here it is necessary to do because 6х3×4 = 72
photoetch plates to the cylinder case Magic 550 need build.

The task is feasible, but rather tiresome.

Interestingly, what color Humbrol they to give the desert camouflage scheme Mirage 4000

in the instruction?

So far on a photo, molds everything looks not bad.

However, we will draw conclusions when the first appear independent building.
