At this "POINT" I must confess that I thinked of myself that I'm a nut…. Did I ruined an otherwise good paint ??? Stress (a lot of) and drum Rolling ! Not too bad at all, What do you Guys think about it, I just did the half of the Corsair And the blue is little bit more deep ! The markings look far less toyish IMHO. Let me know your advice !! My old mark 1 👀’s just dont see any difference before or after on any kit ive seen it tried on ? I was not satisfied with the blue only, then I tried that dot filter technique since it work well on single color kit ! Then will come the weathering... These days, I'm worn to the bone, the clock in the chest is going astray and I'm waiting for the appointment for my hip replacement ! This Week end, I'm out, Driving Mrs CC in Holland for her schooling on dogs behaviour ( I Wonder … Did she study it for coping with me ??? ) So 3 days in an hotel room outside of any city without a car, I'll rest a lot and work on figures and may be my tiny O-1... As for the GB… I did one last year, it has been funny, but I'll spend a bit of time in improving the 2 Meteors But one is for the Korean serie and the other one for Musketeer... But 50' Cold war 🤔 I Wonder if …. To enter the game the kit must be less than 25% built ?? I'll go to see, I can have a perfect contender and a GB can be the pusher to finish her at last... Interesting to notice that I show some restraint in swearing or cursing…. I tried first with plastic tubes but the result was worst than the cause…. Again, I showed that same restraint !! I had some skull sessions and start foraging in my LHS's... And thank to Albion Alloy !!! I will start to Baronize or Hendieaze some brass… But not for today !! Here I messed up with the CA, but it's already repaired… SNAFU... Look a bit better that way I think I'll clean that flashes, I just see it now on the pic 🤬 Okay Dears, I'm open to comments and banter as usual !! Sincerely. But for once, I'm sadened by Life colors !! I used Tire black from my "Black box" And Yes !! I have now 2 nice Michelin Green Energy tires….. You Don't Believe it ? Look closer ! Time to repaint it now ! In fact, it may be is a tire black for the reproduction of old tires abandonned for years in a forest….🤬 Well otherwise, it has been a good modelling evening ! I never paint them black anyway, it's usually a mix of Lifecolor Matt Black, Matt Brown and Dark Gull Grey. Then I add drybrushes according to the environment where the aircraft used to stay. Just my Ciao Hello Dears, I choose to follow the sound advice of Giorgio and I did'nt repaint the wheels... Now that the paint has cured thoroughly, it's more black than green ! And 🎶🎶🎶 I will finish a Corsair this year !! 🎶🎶 Still some little thing to fix on and she can be called done I think ! She start to look good, What do you think about ?? Then, I'll crack on the Recce Hellcat to go beside her !! And I have the story almost complete !! The FAA is not forgotten since I think that I can also finish a second Seafire this year !!
