corsaircorp
Hello Dears ! My Pratt factory has been ordered to the "Must finish a Corsair this year too" !! Then, I Added the armament panels on my -4, it's clearly visible and no kit brand ever reproduced it ! 🤬 The belly of the -4 is almost corrected, then I think about creating a resin plug to correct this since I still have 2 or 3 late Corsairs to do 😡 Have a great modelling time Dears !! Sincerely. CC
corsaircorp
Hello Dears ! Hoooops ! I forget a late Pratt 2800 !! So I started it ! IRL is very demanding these days ! So I did'nt make a lot ! Thank for watching and happy modelling to you all ! Sincerely. CC
corsaircorp
Hello Dears, As I say to @giemme yesterday was a british day, for my beer at least ! Did I mention somewhere that I like Naval Aviation ?? The desk of my F4U-2 is nearing completion Here's why I use resin seats... And now, let's start some heavy surgery on the Academy -4 Opening the cowling flaps and having some good exhausts and so rearrange the back of the (resin) engine ! This Corsair will surely not be finished this year, I will send these lyrics to Neil Young ! That can be a success ! Thank for watching ! Have a great modelling time and take care !! Sincerely. Checked !! She has the family features !! A horn shaped nose ! And a -4 chin. Stamped ! Can't describe how glad and moved I'm right now. These 3D Echography are amazing ! Now, I get to the Bench ! Greg Law
Congats on the new kit build. Always good when you can see work in progress. The only trouble with those kits is they can be a bit destructive on your completed builds in a few years. 😉

And it would be one of the first thing that Lyla will learn from Gran'Dad…. KIT AREA IS A VERY RESTRICTED AREA, Then, I'll teach her how to listen to Led Zep, AC DC and so on !! After all my son and Daughter in law are musicians !! 3 hours ago, Max Headroom said: Welcome to grand parenthood! Trevor Thank you Trevor ! corsaircorp
Hello Dears, One more HB goof !! Such great see trough for tiny spaghetti like exhaust pipe !! What There are Nothing else but a hole ?? 🤬🤬 Sooo ! A bit more of work ahead !! But I still must finish a Corsair this year !! This is clearly not a hole…. And not so big at all !! Would we have a good 1/48 Corsair someday ?? Wings are on their way too ! I must say that I'm a bit disappointed, since the critics were very positive about the HB Corsair serie in the French modelling press !! Whatever ! That's modelling !! Art School for my daughter !! My wallet is a bit depleted now There is around 3 kits missed on this pic !! Just kidding ! but that's expensive too ! Have a great modelling time Dears ! Sincerely. corsaircorp
Srriously Giorgio, Have'nt you read articles in wich they say that the putty will stay in the drawer ?? And when give the kit a try….. You find misadjustment, flaws and so on ?? Look at @Navy Bird build… I can show you an article saying that 1/72 AZ kits are pristine but one can eventually find some errors on the 1/48 ones ??? Here HB has missed the wings of the -5.... They give us fabric wings on a -5... A flat belly and engine cowling on the -4 and now this…. It's a bit disappointing ! CC
corsaircorp
Hello Dears, Still messing around for finishing a Corsair this year ! Don't waste my time to make another parts from scratch or resin ! I pick up the lost part in another boxing and let a note in it ! Whatever, in my boxes there are plans, pics, resin parts and overtrees. If I die first, the one who buy my stock will be surprised !! Some boxes contain 2 kits !! So the Dash 4 will be this one I think… Or this other one ! Now I'm looking forward because I will have a Deckmate for my Dash 4, So I have to be cautious ! Ceckmate that is on its way in another thread ! Obviously and Murphilly The wing ban the view on the star and bars, and on the tail So a Big C or not ?? Don't you worry, I'll find it ! Interestingly the fuel tank is bare metal ! At this time the Navy was monitoring from far away the trouble in the middle east ! Today, I've been on the cardiologist and Lord … Load of not so good news… I've been sermonned (Hardway) Now a full batch of medical exam, and I MUST stop smoking once more and for good !! Thursday, I go to the Hospital for my Hip, that will not be funny either !! Thank for watching and have a great modelling time ! Sincerely. Not easy but I'm used to ! Still I must finish a Corsair this year and now, time is running low ! Hum, about smoking there's a report since Lady CC say that I'm too nervous This is not an understatement Thanks to you both friends ! The show will go on ! Sincerely. Hello Shalako On my old Hasegawa, I have 2 other markings, but I have all I want at hand Thank you ! I was just searching for the time being since it is just in between one of the numerous marking change in the USN. Back at my new song, I must finish a Corsair this year 🎶 And I think I will !! Yesterday, I was engulfed in the '50s... The -4 is going strong, the -2 will be butonned up soon… A Corsair this year ??? No seriously, I also will finish my F-94C but I Don't know what's happening, I did'nt find the mojo for the masking... Have a great modelling time Friends ! And take care !! Sincerely. Shalako
I see in the photo that you are simultaneously working on 6 kits, which is something good for your skills and consequently for the result you wish to achieve. Keep up the good work!!!
giemme
I did struggle working on two kits at the same time (and being HASEGAWA Folgore and Veltro in the same scale, they were basically the same model too), working on 6 would drive me crazy!! Please finish off one of your Corsairs, CC -. for your own sanity ... Ciao
