If you want an heavily weathered go for a Marines one... The bomb support is almost good and was field made. I can share some pics if it can help, as soon as you started it !! Then, I see that we already are in July (Almost August) and no Corsair done by CC... Unthinkable and Mmmmh Usual... Tony resparked the Corsair Mojo in mentioning A Night Fighter Corsair in Korea... Aaaand Dang !!  This one fell from my attic !! If I start this one, I'm sure that I will not finish a Corsair this year but... I have a -5 on its way.... The Minicraft -5 is 4,5mm too short....  And has some issues... In fact, it's the -4 slightly rectified.... Wings of the HB one are glued but still need a lot of sanding !! And then... Engraving...
