Dereknf
Revell's 1/48 F-8E Crusader finished pretty much out of the box except for the addition of after-market metal landing gear. Pretty decent kit with mostly excellent fit. Finished as always with Xtracrylix and a brush, this one in the markings of VF-194 ‘Red Lightnings’, USS Ticonderoga 1966 And with my last US Navy creation.
RODH2
Very nice indeed, Monogram get the look right. Wish I could build them like that! (pump up those tyres a bit, tho!) (Oblique joke for those that know the model....)

Booty003
Very nicely done and very clean looking. Looks great alongside the Spook. Have you thought about giving it a bit of grime at all?
mcdonnell
Hello,Derek - Wow! I love both these beautifully built and finished gems. Your 'Crusader' and 'Phantom' remind me of the glorious 'Hi-Viz' days and I commend their 'classic' clean paintwork. Great work on great subjects and a treat to view and admire. 😉👍 All the best,Paul. Dereknf
Thank you for your comments folks. they are appreciated. I don't tend to use panel washes or go heavy on weathering. That's the way I like them.
