You don’t want any spray getting in there dear CC. 😇 Johnny Yes it is my Dear Spad... And I saw it too late... I was spraying the Ocean grey and I moved the cockpit with my big stubby fingers... So, it's now a matter of faith and finger crossing... Ahaaa !! Mrs Virginia stand proud on her legs... I can now carry on with the weathering, RFI is nearing now !! See you on Sunday Have a great modelling week end !! Sincerely. CC

corsaircorp
Hello Dears... Look what has happened, I was about to use my oil paint but it has dried out... I felt anger rising, then I see the sticker... I bought it in February of the year 1988... Rest in peace oill paint.... Then I got another Titanium White So ! Part 2.0 of the weathering is on Now, I have to wait for the oil paint curing and start the other side... The varnish, the dreaded varnish will come up then... Hooops the wing's star and bars has suffered a bit seemingly...😩 See you next week, I start a bath of 6 evening day work...😩😩😩 Take care Gents !! See you later... corsaircorp
Hello Dears, Soo, mojo slowed, I take care of my good lady in these sad circumstances. stevehnz
Cripes CC, this has been a thread & a half. I've just had a longish catch up as you'll tell from the splattering of reactions on the way through. Seriously impressive work, I do love the -A, I've an HPM kit to do this in my prefered baby scale, I'll try to keep up now. Steve.

When I start to be bored, I jump on another thread of mine... I've the choice... It's a bit annoying, my cabinet is full of bits of Mustangs and Hurricanes... So, I stay focused a bit... At least I try to.... Well, some news of the stable ?? The -A is on a waiting room for now since my other oil paint is from a lesser quality and has not dried up thoroughly...😩 I would'nt take a bet and spray the varnish on it... Guess how I know it... So here we are... I added some tiny bits... Mrs Virginia is spending her time in the bathroom and I'm waiting for her, sound familliar ?? Then, Sharky is now british !! see.. And her airscrew is now ready... I love that old fashioned name... Airscrew... First time i hear it, I scratched my head, Then it make sense... Well Gents, have a great modelling day and take care... corsaircorp
Hello Dears, As I told it to our friends @The Spadgent..... Sharkmouth are addicitive.... Now, having all the aircraft flown by the 112th did'nt help in that matter.... Trying to do something right with ICM exhaust stacks... One is not too bad, the other is a mess... Ok gents, things are restarting slowly here... I warmly thank you for the support. Sincerely. CC

Oil paint will be on friday, tomorrow, I go to a Tex Mex meal with my missus... I'll prepare Fajitas... Si Amigo... Well, back to the exhausts now, I tried to bore the stacks, one worked well as shown here above... But the moulding of the other one was not very good and I messed the part up.... What to do now.... Biggles87
Hi CC, I did a lot of research for my Korean Mustang and according to the Squadron Signal Walkaround the undercarriage bays had been roughly overpainted with interior green by that time, just thought you might like to know. Looking forward to the markings. John.
corsaircorp
Thank you John !! That's a great tip, I look in my decals sheet for another Buzz number. Since, I will reproduce the Mustang flown by Daniel 'Chappie" James... But even on the related website, I did'nt find any pics.. Roughly overpainted it wimll be so !! Dears !! I love Britmodeller !! Biggles87
Me again, I’m sure I have a picture somewhere of ‘ Chappie ‘ James standing beside a Mustang with his foot on a mainwheel. I will try to find and photograph it if you’re interested. John 1

My free hand paint skills are not sufficient... Look 'Ma, a nest of propellers or Airscrew for the ones who like that name.... There's a lot of red nosed aircrafts down the pipe... Still 5 evening work day and I'm in vacation.... Pfiiuuu !! It's about time now... Sincerely. CC
Biggles87
That’s the one, and some interesting detail to be had from it. The aircraft doesn’t have a ‘ buzz ‘ number for a start, the extra radio is fitted behind the headrest, and I think that the red mark just behind and above the exhaust is a fault on the film. I hope the weather holds for your vacation, although it’s a little too hot for us pale Britishers. John

When I came back from 4 full years in central Africa, I was as white as a A..... I did'nt tan.... I burn... No buzz number is helpfull for me, and I've spent sometimes to look at this red mark... And decide not take account of it. Thanks for your support John !! Sincerely. CC
corsaircorp
Hello Dears, The finger crossing has worked !! Thanks to the @The Spadgent too... No paints getting into the gap, so no overspray... Pfiuuuu !! Now, another dicey job for the -A Cutting the canopy in 3.... Pfiuuu again !! Well, on my way to 2 RFI !! Next one will surely be a Hurricane !! Sincerely. CC
