chris148
Good afternoon everyone. Its been a while but please take a look at my latest off the bench. Tamiya 1/48 Lancaster built straight out of the box apart from the engine detail. The open engines obviously come with the kit but looked a bit bland so I decided to add cables and pipework all made by hand by heating and stretching sprues. The whole kit is brush painted as usual. Any comments good or bad welcome.

cngaero
Hats off to you Chris, that's a big beast to tackle with a brush. You've got a great looking Lancaster there.
polo1112
A beautiful model you built there, Congratulations for your work, it's really fantastic. The problem with the Tamiya Lancaster is that it is so expensive that not anyone (inclusive me!!!) can afford it. It's a pity and a shame: it's not possible to everybody to build a 1/48 Lancaster. But let's wait, perhaps Airfix or Revell... Who knows?

I'd love to see a new 1/48 model of that as well as the B-17s. In the meantime, we have HK producing 1/32 scale versions of both instead!
WildeSau75
What a great and clean build of Britain's finest bomber - love it. Cheers, Michael

Bob Henry
You definitely had a lot of work to do to brush paint a model of this size. A very nice effort indeed !! Bob H.

The Spadgent
Absolutely beautiful. Just noticed that you have built two major builds I want to do this year. This and the Javelin, brush painted too. Really great work, you can be very proud of this for sure. John.
kapam
Excellent build! I don't see too many build-ups of this kit (perhaps because of the asking prices, as intimated above). You have done a very good job on yours.
